Farmhouse Garden
This lovingly restored farmhouse was surrounded by an uninspiring expanse of lawn. The brief was to create a family friendly garden that would compliment the house and incorporate areas for eating, entertaining and relaxing.
Inspired by the symmetry of the house, the formal design of this garden uses strong geometric lines and vistas to break up the large plot and frame the pine forest beyond. The planting throughout is a mixture of shrubs and swathes of perennials and grasses.
